Candidates must be self-starters with strong communication and written skills. We need proven warriors who know how to win-win-win for themselves, the client, and Zeta Zeta 105.3 FM. Requirements:


Written and verbal sales presentations, business letters, phone calls and gathering sales prospects are required. Driver's license and automobile are a must.

Responsibilities:


The position involves making face to face sales calls to retail stores and other direct businesses. The position requires the development of new business by negotiating and selling advertising time on Zeta 105.3 FM.

NEWS DIRECTOR

Expect:


To get the best "On-Hands" experience while providing a valuable service to our local community. This volunteers position will give you the experience you will need to move forward in your career in the radio broadcasting industry.

Requirements:


Excellent written and verbal skills, gathering news stories at a local, national and international level. Must be able to deliver a 2 minute newscast on a daily basis Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

You will head up the Zeta 105.3 FM news department and will supply a daily newscast which will air weekday mornings on the station. You will also be in charge of gathering sound bits for stories to use during your newscast. Once you have gotten to a comfortable level, you will over a small number of volunteers and will teach them how to gather, write, record and edit news items uner their own editorial control as a part of our broadcast training course.
